Nollywood actress, Mercy Johnson on the 8th of January, deleted a lot of photos from her Instagram page, including all photos of her husband Prince Odianosen Okojie that she has ever posted, leaving many fans to wonder if all is well with her marriage.
Her husband on the other hand still has his page intact with a lot of her photos and family posts.
Due to this, social media rumor then went viral about a possible crash of her marriage. She debunked the rumours by sharing a photo of herself with her husband on bed, rocking matching outfits and reading the bible.
She wrote;
“Okay ooo…there is God ooo..in this new year? Hmmmm wish me better na.thats not happening????is it your delete????
#imustaskpermissiontopostnewpictures#icarryb****tforunaooo# ???”
The mother of 3 has now revealed why she deleted the photos from her Instagram. Speaking exclusively with NET, she dispelled the rumors and described them as evil rumors from bloggers.
“I usually delete all the pictures on my page from time to time and this time around, I didn’t just delete my husband’s pictures, I deleted photos of me and my children. In fact, my husband is in shock at the drama emanating from social media.”
“We had a photo shoot and of course you know the new year swag na, so I said to delete the old pictures I had which is what I do normally, na im e backfire oooo.”
While assuring her fans to stop fretting as her marriage is still intact, she continued;
“I will still celebrate 10 years with my sexy Odi by God’s grace and I appreciate all my fans for expressing their concern over the issue. God bless you all” She said.
The 33-year–old actress got married in 2011, and her marriage is blessed with 3 kids; Purity Ozioma Okojie, Henry Okojie and Angel Okojie.
