He was released after spending three nights in custody at the headquarters of the agency located in Abuja after he was alleged to have been involved in money laundering and tax fraud circumstances.
Per what we gathered, the businessman was released on November 4, after he had spent three days in detention.
This latest development was confirmed by the spokesman of the commission, Wilson Uwujaren who indicated Obi Cubana was allowed to go the commission completed their questioning.
This also comes after several reports that he had been released some days ago, however, the commission came out to debunk these reports that he was released and even added why Cubana was still in the custody.
