Self-proclaimed financial expert GehGeh recently shared his insights on the Honest Bunch Podcast, aiming to clarify certain misconceptions and the internal workings of the show.
These insights emerge during a public altercation between social media commentator VeryDarkMan and comedian DeeOne. DeeOne’s allegations sparked intense exchanges between the two figures, further escalating the controversy surrounding the Honest Bunch Podcast.
GehGeh noted that Nedu Wazobia, a key personality on the podcast, is not its owner but rather a contracted host.
In response to claims that the Honest Bunch Podcast follows a scripted format, GehGeh dismissed these assertions, explaining that the show thrives on controversy and provocative inquiries, as he believes the typical Nigerian audience is more attracted to sensationalism than to substantive information.
In his counsel to Kokopee, GehGeh advised caution regarding close ties with VeryDarkMan, warning that any personal details shared could potentially be weaponized in future conflicts.
“When I go that podcast, I see wetin shock me and I wan expose that thing. When I went there, I observed Nedu wasn’t the owner of the podcast; he was on contract. He didn’t resign, he was sacked! That day I was interviewed, the owner of the podcast was one of the camera crew.
“He only employed Nedu to work there. This is why I tell business owners not to associate their brand with one person for a long time. This is the same thing BBNaija is doing with Ebuka. To everyone saying Honest Bunch Podcast is scripted, it is a lie.
“Honest Bunch podcast capitalizes on negativity, and controversy and focuses on stupid questions because an average Nigeria is not interested in quality information. my advice to Kokopee na to avoid Verydarkman because he practices, ‘no permanent friend and enemy’. Whenever you have issues with him, he would use everything you’ve told him against you.”
