In a nationwide broadcast on Monday, President Muhammadu Buhari expressed joy to be back home after three months of medical vacation in London.
In the six-minute-17-second speech, the president promised to hit the ground running by doing the following:
He said, “Nigeria’s unity is settled and not negotiable. We shall not allow irresponsible elements to start trouble and when things get bad they run away and saddle others with the responsibility of bringing back order, if necessary with their blood.”
The President in his speech asserted that every Nigerian has the right to live and pursue his business anywhere in Nigeria without let or hindrance.
His words, “This is not to deny that there are legitimate concerns. Every group has a grievance. But the beauty and attraction of a federation is that it allows different groups to air their grievances and work out a mode of co-existence.”

He vowed that terrorists and criminals must be fought and destroyed relentlessly so that the majority of Nigerians can live in peace and safety.
He added, “Therefore we are going to reinforce and reinvigorate the fight not only against elements of Boko Haram which are attempting a new series of attacks on soft targets kidnappings, farmers versus herdsmen clashes.”
As the president settles to resume office, he promised to work on economic security, political evolution and integration.
He added, “Finally, dear Nigerians, our collective interest now is to eschew petty differences and come together to face common challenges of; economic security, political evolution and integration, as well as lasting peace among all Nigerians.”
The President said he would make sure no mischief maker succeeds in tearing the nation apart, asserting that, “we are going to reinforce and reinvigorate the fight not only against; ethnic violence fuelled by political mischief makers. We shall tackle them all.”

May the masses be made to known the truth and be directed well. Is it not the masses that put you in power and they are the people you want to destroy. You know bad workman qurells with his tools. Somebody who said he want to go is it a crime? I think a father of the house noticing abnmalities in his house calls for settlement. And not to crush or use destroying sentiments to approach the matter. The world has opened eye and observers who take records. It is good to settle issues peasefully than to burn. There are amerment as you shop so shall he also shop and don't forget there are enemies also supporters. Please play SAFE. Thanks.
