Unfortunate news as five members of the Gombe state House of Assembly have tested positive for COVID-19.
Chairman of the state task force on COVID-19, Prof Idris Mohammed, disclosed this today June 8 while briefing newsmen on the state’s fight against the novel Coronavirus.
Mohammed further disclosed, the lawmakers whose identities were not disclosed have been admitted at different isolation centers in the state.
The state currently has 217 confirmed cases of the viral disease.
