Nigerian Actor IK Ogbonna received an overwhelming show of love from colleagues in the entertainment industry as he finally laid his mother, Tori Ogbonna, to rest on Friday, April 22.
The movie star’s late mum was buried at family compound in Isiala Ngwa, Abia State and a number of his fellow actors and Celebrities were in attendance.
Ik Ogbonna and his family members hosted friends and other guests at a funeral reception.
In videos making the rounds online, football star, Emmanuel Emenike, Nollywood stars, Ini Edo, Alex Ekubo, Fashion Designer, Yomi Casual, amongst others, were seen with long faces at the funeral.
The bereaved family and most of the guests present rocked all-white outfits as they celebrated the late matriarch’s lifetime.
Ikechukwu IK Ogbonna, who is mourning the loss of his cherished mother, has been comforted by celebrities.
IK Ogbonna posted a picture of his deceased mother, who was finally laid to rest today, April 21, 2023. The actor consoled himself by telling himself that his mother was at peace.
He wrote, “A Queen and more. Rest well mama. Today we lay mama’s body to rest …. But her spirit lives on. I Love you forever and more.”
His close friends and coworkers consoled him on his timeline with heartfelt messages and warm hugs.
Celebrities like KCee, Chigul, Whitemoney, Nosa Rex, Maria Chike Benjamin, Omonni Oboli, Toke Makinwa, Linda Osifo, Ozo, Onyii Alex, and his best friend Alex Ekubo offered him consolation following the death of his mother.
IK Ogbonna lost his beloved mother in January 2023. He shared the details on his Instagram page with a video of his mother and a warming caption which read, “Rest in peace, my Angel.”
