Footballer Sadio Mane’s 18-year-old wife recieves a grand reception as she returns to school (Watch)

Just one day after being married to Senegalese football player Sadio Mane, 18-year-old Aisha Tamba was warmly welcomed back to school.

On January 7, in an Islamic ceremony, the former Liverpool striker—who is presently playing for Al-Nassr in the Saudi Pro League—married Tamba in Keur Massar, a suburb of Dakar’s capital.

There were close friends and family members present at Aisha’s home for the wedding.

Following the nuptials at Aisha’s residence, her father, Amadou Tamba, said that more than two years prior, on a visit to his family with her mother, his 18-year-old daughter drew the attention of the 31-year-old Mane.

In a newly viral internet video, Tamba is shown being welcomed back to her school following her marriage to the football player.

In the video, a sizable gathering of people was seen celebrating Tamba and Mane by performing songs on the school grounds.

Tamba is allegedly completing her undergraduate studies at a school in the Dakar suburb of Mbao. The baccalaureate is an academic qualification typically obtained by students at the conclusion of their secondary education.
