Footballers dey enjoy oh, be like I chose the wrong profession – Singer Davido spills

In his most recent social media post, superstar Afrobeats artist David Adeleke, better known as Davido, gushed about professional footballers.

Singer Davido stated on his verified page on popular microblogging platform X, formerly known as Twitter, that players are having a great time because of the large sums of money they make from the business.

This comes only days after he hung out with some top professional footballers, confirming how wealthy they are.

Recall that Davido was seen with football stars such as Paul Pogba, Antoine Griezmann, Neymar, and others at Atletico Madrid star Memphis Depay’s 30th birthday celebration.

However, Davido was stunned in disbelief after celebrant Memphis Depay gave him a Rolex during his birthday party. The footballer also gave extra Rolexes to those who came to celebrate with him.

After getting the Rolex, the emotional Davido rushed to Instagram Stories to express his gratitude to Memphis Depay.

Davido revealed that he has never gotten a present in his life, and that he is always the one gifting others.

He wrote; “Niga bought me a @rolex on his own birthday !!! I never receive gifts I’ve always been the one to gift Pple! I love and appreciate you @memphisdepay..also lemme get some of that hair Lool.”

In his post on X, Davido makes it known to all and sundry that footballers are so wealthy and then stressed that he should have chosen the football profession ahead of music.

He said; “Footballers Dey enjoy ooooo … be like I chose wrong profession 😂😂😂😂 bruhhhhhhh.”
