Former Nollywood actress Sandra Achums has announced that her 19-year-old son has enlisted in the German army.
The delighted mother shared this exciting news on her Instagram account, stating:
”Today Friday, March 21, 2025, at 10:00 a.m, you took your “solemn oath of service” to serve Der Bundesrepublik Deutschland. I’m so proud of you, son, and I know you‘ll do great things. You are valued, loved and appreciated. It takes a special person to serve like you. Love you son❤️🎊🍾 #bundsewehr #infomationstechnikbataillon292”.

In other news, Nollywood actor and filmmaker Lateef Adedimeji, along with his wife Mo Bimpe, is celebrating a significant achievement as their film Lisabi received 10 nominations at the 2025 Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards (AMVCA).
The nominations, revealed on Sunday, highlighted Lisabi in several prominent categories, such as Best Indigenous Language (West Africa), Best Actor, Best Supporting Actor, Best Sound Design, Best Art Direction, Best Costume Design, Best Makeup, Best Cinematography, and Best Editing.
