Former Oyo State governor Victor Omololu Olunloyo has died. As reported by Daily Post, he passed away early Sunday morning.
Olunloyo, who was the first governor from Ibadan, was just three months away from turning 90.
He held office in the old Oyo State for a short time from October to December 1983. Family sources mentioned that he had been facing health challenges associated with old age in recent weeks.
