It’s not all doom and gloom for Francis Ngannou, who is likely to pay out of his bout against Anthony Joshua.
Multiple media outlets have disclosed the cost of money and how much Ngannou and Joshua would earn following the Saudi match.
Ngannou, a Cameroonian, was soundly defeated by his British-Nigerian opponent, Anthony Joshua.
Joshua defeated Ngannou in the second round of the man, which was seen by many people around the world.
While Ngannou would earn £16 million (N32 billion) from the fight, his victorious opponent, Anthony Joshua, would receive £30 million (N61 billion), according to the Mirror, citing Sports Business Journal.
Meanwhile, Ngannou has reacted to his defeat by Anthony Joshua, calling it a bad day for him.
He wrote on X: “Sorry guys I let you all down. Today was a bad day in the office, but tomorrow will be another day. Thank you all for the love.”
His fans, however, asked him to cheer up, since he still has a great future in the sports.
