Wigwe University, established by the renowned business leader and late Access Bank CEO, Herbert Wigwe, is set to launch in 129 days, and it has already garnered significant attention from Nigerians, who are already referring to it as an Ivy League institution.
The university gained widespread recognition among Nigerians after a video showcasing its state-of-the-art facilities went viral on various social media platforms.
Furthermore, the school fees listed on Wigwe University’s official website have also captured the interest of Nigerians, with some speculating that it will be the most expensive university in the country.
It is worth noting that the fees at Wigwe University, located in Isiokpo, Rivers state, vary slightly depending on the specific colleges and courses of study.
According to the information provided on the website, students enrolled in the colleges of arts, engineering, management and social science, as well as science and computing, will be required to pay slightly different school fees.
The minimum amount that students in the college of arts will have to pay as fees at Wigwe University is N9.6 million per session.
On the other hand, students in the colleges of engineering, science and computing, management and social sciences will be expected to pay N11.9 million as their school fees.
In addition to the tuition fees, students will also incur additional charges for accommodation, which range from N1 million per month to N3.8 million per session.
