Fuji music maestro Wasiu Ayinde, also known as K1 De Ultimate, is mourning the loss of his ex-wife, Alhaja Hafsat Anifowoshe. She passed away at the age of 65 after battling an undisclosed illness.
Her burial took place earlier today at the Abari Cemetery in Lagos, following Islamic rites. The ceremony was somber, attended by family and loved ones, paying tribute to a woman remembered for her virtues and impactful life.
In a condolence statement, Olushoga Olushola, Chief Press Secretary to the LIELCDA chairman, described Alhaja Hafsat as a paragon of virtue. “We know it hurts so deeply to lose a loving mother and dependable partner,” the statement read.
He expressed hope that her legacy and service to God and humanity would inspire strength in her children and loved ones. He concluded with prayers for her soul’s eternal rest.
