Nollywood actress and politician, Funke Akindele has expressed gratitude to Ruth Kadiri for showing her support.
Sinnce unveiling her political project, Funke Akindele has received less supports from her colleagues since her emergence as the deputy governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Lagos because they have been politically divided.
While others camp with Labour Party and the incumbent governor of Lagos who is running for a second term, Ruth Kadiri has showed her support for Funke.
The mother of two had endorsed Funke Akindele for Deputy Governor of Lagos under the PDP Umbrella.
The actress took to her Instagram page to state reasons for supporting the actress turned politician.
She qualified Funke as being hardworking, tough, emotional and so on
She wrote: It’s election season! And @funkejenifaakindele is my candidate.
