Nollywood star Funke Akindele has reacted to a critical social media comment that told her to stop acting in her own movies.
Her response followed a video she shared on X (formerly Twitter) promoting her upcoming film, Everybody Loves Jenifa, which will be released in December.
The critic with the username @Godbles82 recommended that Akindele might find more success by focusing on producing her films rather than acting in them.
The comment read: “Maybe you could do better by producing a movie one day without being part of the cast.”
Akindele quickly responded to the critique, she wrote:
“Maybe you could do better logging out of this app.”
