Funke Akindele, a Nollywood director and actress, expresses gratitude to Nigeria and West Africa for the success of her film “A Tribe Called Judah”.
Funke Akindele became the first Nollywood film to gross one billion naira in a short period of time, breaking all previous records in the Nigerian film industry.
In the United Kingdom, her film also smashed box office records, making an incredible £80,000 in just four weeks of streaming.
Following her film’s N1.4 billion box office triumph, Funke Akindele has issued a letter of thanks to Nigeria and West Africa for their participation in the film’s historical journey.
