Nigerian actress and filmmaker Funke Akindele is backing her fellow actor Femi Adebayo as he gets ready to launch his new film, Seven Doors.

She posted the trailer on her Instagram on Monday, urging her fans to look forward to its release.

    “Dem don open door o!!!!!💃🏽💃🏽💃🏽💃🏽💃🏽💃🏽

“Can’t wait to see this Limited series #sevendoors by @femiadebayosalami. Congrats Femi!!! This one go loud o!!! Out on #Netflix December 13!!! Legggooooooo.”

In an interview with Independence in August, Femi Adebayo suggested that his new project would be “better than Jagun Jagun.” He also talked about the film’s special setting:

“The next movie that I said is bigger than Jagun Jagun is titled Seven Doors. It’s set in two eras—the 18th century and the 19th century—which means we have the old-school setting with those 504s and Volkswagens, and it also takes us back to that kind of Jagun Jagun environment.

“It’s a mix, featuring multiple tribes. It’s about a Yoruba king married to an Igbo woman, with a Hausa man coming to invest. It’s a showcase of Nigerian culture.”

The cast of Seven Doors features a variety of stars, including Femi Adebayo, Chioma Akpotha, Wumi Toriola, Yinka Quadri, Oshodi Oke, Dayo Amusa, Adebayo Salami, and Gabriel Afolayan.

In other news, Ghanaian spiritual leader Prophet Ajagurajah became popular online after a woman was blocked for talking about God during a live session.

The woman, a Christian, discovered the TikTok stream featuring a spiritual group in red and black outfits. Shocked, she wrote, “Aah God abeg oo.”

Almost immediately, the host blocked her from the stream.

The incident was uploaded to TikTok by @Oma_babyy, who said, “You went into an online church and got blocked.”

Reactions to the video are varied; some find it funny, while others criticize the group for not allowing other viewpoints.

The video is still trending, leading to conversations about the limits of faith, freedom of expression, and spiritual practices.
