Funmi Awelewa deletes social media posts in grief over the loss of ‘husband’ Sisi Quadri

In mourning for her on-screen spouse, Sisi Quadri, well-known Yoruba actress Funmi Awelewa has turned her social media pages all black.

On her Instagram page, the Nollywood actress—also known as Morili—who had a unique relationship with Sisi Quadri when they were on film, expressed her profound sadness.

Funmi Awelewa, who played the on-screen partner of Sisi Quadri in a number of local series, made the moving decision to remove all photos from her Instagram page and replace it with a gloomy photo for her profile picture.

Sisi Quadri’s death was initially announced on the evening of March 1st, 2024, sending shockwaves across social media channels.

The seasoned actor reportedly passed away from difficulties brought on by kidney issues.

After blogger Seun Oloketuyi verified the news on his Instagram page, the film industry expressed sympathy and paid respects to him.
