Funsho Adeoti, the estranged spouse of Kazim Adeoti, who is married to actress Mercy Aigbe, has addressed the recent controversy surrounding her 50th birthday celebration.
Last week, Funsho marked this significant milestone without Kazim in attendance, which led to criticism online.
In light of the negative feedback, Kazim released a public statement clarifying that although he was not present at the event, he had provided both financial and moral support and emphasized that he maintains a friendly relationship with Funsho.
Undeterred by his remarks, Funsho took to Instagram to express her gratitude to the public for their support during this challenging time, opting not to directly respond to Kazim’s statements.
She wrote;
“Dear friends, family, and loved ones,
I am deeply moved by all the birthday wishes, prayers, and love that you have shown me. Your kind words have filled my heart with so much gratitude, and I honestly can’t express how much it means to me. Whether near or far, each message has reminded me how blessed I am to have such amazing people in my life. Your thoughtfulness has made this day even more special than I could have ever imagined.
Thank you to everyone who took the time to send me birthday greetings, prayers, and well wishes. Your love is felt more than words can describe, and I truly appreciate every single one of you. Each message, whether big or small, has brightened my day and added so much joy to this celebration.
As I reflect on the love and support I have received, I pray that the same kindness, joy, and blessings you’ve shared with me be returned to you a hundredfold. May your lives be filled with peace, happiness, and an abundance of love. I ask that God bless each one of you with good health, success, and joy in all that you do, and may His light continue to guide your steps.
Thank you once again for making this birthday so meaningful. I cherish you all deeply and look forward to the many more memories we will create together.
With love and gratitude”.
