George Floyd ‘Call Peter, Don’t Call Me’ – Davido Tells, Jude Okoye

It was like a joke but many have read meaning into it as to how the afropop singer, Davido indirectly advised Jude Okoye, the older brother of defunct twin singers, Peter and Paul Okoye to fix his family issues.

In a post on his Instagram page, May 30, Jude tried to use the recent slogan “Call Me”, which was first used by Davido the day he tweeted telling the embattled singer, Cynthia Morgan to call him. Valid Updates recalls on that day, Davido promised to help Cynthia with a feature in a new song after she publicly revealed her fallout with former boss, Jude and label, Northside Entertainment.

However, on sharing his post, Jude captioned, “Making new anthem, Davido call me”. And the singer who was referred to in the caption took to comment section to respond to the post.

Davido replied saying, “I dey Peter house, call am.. e go gimme phone … nice house tho”. And from our observation, David’s comment sent a clear message to Jude that he should find way and bring back his brothers together.

The two brothers, Peter and Paul Okoye, broke up in September 2017, reportedly over a disagreement about the role of their-then manager, Jude Okoye, who happens to be their older brother. However, Paul in an interview stated that reason they parted ways was because of family issues and not anything relating to their music career.
