“Go to The Gym” – Netizens drags Simi over her swimsuit, she reacts

Simisola Kosoko, a Nigerian musician, songwriter, and singer better known as Symply Simi, has made headlines for having too much fun.

The singer recently went to the pool with her husband, family, and friends and played the popular game ‘2345678’.

Because she was at the pool, she played the game while still in her swimmers, and the video went viral.

Critics chastised the mother-of-one for showing so much of her body while being married.

Simi, the kind superstar that she is, resorted to social media to make an apology video.

Her sister, Iyanu, warned her, but she ignored her advice. She apologized for disappointing her followers and stated that the next time she visits the pool, she will wear a ‘Kaftan.’

She also stated that she did not want to give viewers anything that would make them think negatively about her marriage.

In related news, Adekunle Gold, a Nigerian vocalist and music star, shared a photo of his wife, Simisola Kosoko’s art cover, as well as a new album, Lost and Found.

The musical team has always encouraged each other’s work and openly acknowledged each other’s skills.

Although social media users have attempted to pit them against each other when they believe Simi is better, they handle the backlash with utmost maturity.

In a new social media post, the father-of-one, who recently revealed his sickle cell difficulties, urged his fans to support his love, Simi. Simi’s 14-track album, released on July 5, 2024, features guest artists like Asa, Lojay, Chief Commander Ebenezer Obey, and Ladipoe.

According to Adekunel Gold, Simi worked really hard and mixed all of the album’s tracks on her own.

Remember that Simi ignored Samklef’s online outburst in which he claimed to be responsible for the Joromi crooner’s success. Her husband, Adekunle Gold, defended her and criticized the music producer online.

Social media users have expressed their views online.
