Hope Uzodinma, Imo state governor, has been appointed as the head of Edo’s state screening committee for the forthcoming party governorship elections.
This news came after an alleged snub yesterday by Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Godwin Obeseki had earlier ran to Lagos to seek the face of Tinubu amidst his crisis with National chairman of APC, Adams oshiomhole.
According to sources, Tinubu practically scolded Obeseki like a schoolboy, obasekki was then tutored on party supremacy and told to go prepare for party primaries.
Tragedy didn’t end for this schoolboy, as Lagos State commissioner and former APC spokesman, Joe Igbokwe took to his Facebook page to scorn Obaseki.
Joel Igbokwe wrote;
‘Just confirmed that Governor Obaseki was in the fortress, bourdillon sweating and practically begging and pleading with Asiwaju to intervene on his behalf. Ok oo but the said Edo is not Lagos. Please fear PMB, Jagaban and Oshiomhole, these are not small boys ooo.’
This was much of a humiliation.
Now as if to cremate Obaseki the NWC has made Adams Oshiomhole’s main ally and the Executive Governor of Imo State Hope Uzodimma to Head APC screening committee in Edo State for the forthcoming direct primaries.
This could be the end for Obaseki as Governor Hope Uzodinma happens to be a strong ally to Adams Oshiomhole who sees as instrumental in his emergence as Governor.
Hope uzodinma is set to head the screening committe.
Hmm this is hard time for the incumbent governor. He has to Gage his political temperature before the APC primaries
Unless our votes do not count, Godwin Obaseki will secure second time by God’s grace.
