Emerging report indicates that former President, Goodluck Jonathan, may be suspended or possibly expelled from the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, over his alleged romance with the All Progressives Congress, APC, which contributed to the defeat of his party, in last Saturday’s Governorship election, in his home State of Bayelsa.
A top source revealed that the Leadership of the party is seriously angry with Jonathan, for hosting top APC Governors in his house, barely 24-hours after PDP’s shocking defeat.
“There are plans to immediately suspend Jonathan from PDP, for romancing with the APC, a few hours after INEC declared the party winner.
“To add insult to injury, he even went as far as congratulating David Lyon of the APC. The Leadership of the PDP believes that Jonathan sold the party to the APC, during the last meeting he held with Buhari, few weeks to the Bayelsa election.”
The source added: “For bringing the party to public ridicule, the PDP may be forced to wield the big stick.”
