David Njoga, a witness of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Abubakar Atiku, its presidential candidate in the February 23 election, has said an employee of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) released the result on its server to them.
He disclosed this while testifying before Justice Mohammed Garba-led Presidential Election Petition Tribunal on Friday.
He said he never knew the anonymous INEC employee, whom he described as whistle-blower.
The petitioners claim the result from the server, which they claim is the authentic one, had shown Atiku won the elections.
He also told the tribunal that he had analysed the results and published them on www.factsdontlie.com.
According to the witness, the website was created on March 12, 2019.
PDP and Atiku are seeking to prove that they are the rightful winners of the election, which handed Buhari a second term.
