A video making rounds on social media captured the moment Governor Wike tossed his hat and suit to the crowd of Emohua community.
The suit was snatched by a young man who ecstatically put it on while praising Gov. Wike for the gesture of kindness.
The hat, however, was taken by a middle-aged woman who jumped for joy and immediately wore it on her head.
“Seems his people love him sha😂,” a social media wrote in reaction.
Another user added, “Nigeria for show.”
