Nigerian entrepreneur Grace Makun has clapped back at her critics.
The wife of fashion designer Yomi ‘Casual’ Makun shared on her Instagram, “The same people that shouted what did you see in him to marry him are the same people shouting she married him for money. You see Nigerians ehn, my sister do you o.”
She added: “rest in Jesus name.”
This came as she encouraged others to share their own experiences about marrying their partners.
In other news, Selena Gomez, an American singer and actress, has spoken out about her health issues, revealing that she is unable to deliver her own kid.
Speaking during an interview with Vanity Fair. The “Who Says” singer said that owing to health concerns, her womb is unable to bear her own children.
She told the platform, “I have never spoken this before, but I am unable to bear my own children. I have a number of medical concerns that might jeopardize both mine and the baby’s lives. “That was something I had to mourn for a while.”
“It’s not necessarily the way I envisioned it. I thought it would happen the way it happens for everyone. But I’m in a much better place with that. I find it a blessing that there are wonderful people willing to do surrogacy or adoption, which are both huge possibilities for me,” said the singer.
Gomez expressed optimism about the future, noting that while her journey to motherhood might look different from what she had originally imagined, she remains excited.
“I’m excited for what that journey will look like, but it’ll look a little different. At the end of the day, I don’t care. It’ll be mine. It’ll be my baby,” she explained.
“Before I met my boyfriend, I was single for five years, with the exception of going on a few dates,” she shared. “And I was like, ‘Okay, if this is the vibe, then what is the most important thing to me? Family.’”
