Controversial singer Speed Darlington has expressed gratitude to popular socialite Cubana Chief Priest for sending ₦2 million to his legal team to aid his release while he was in detention.
Recall that Speed Darlington spent two months behind bars following allegations of slander against Burna Boy. Amid the controversy, Cubana Chief Priest had previously vowed to assist in securing his release.
In a recent video, Speed Darlington confirmed that the businessman followed through on his promise by transferring the funds to his legal team. He admitted that he initially believed Cubana Chief Priest was only using his situation for clout, but after two people verified the donation, he was convinced.
