A couple and some wedding guests escaped as COVID-19 Task Force officials in Cross River state busted a church wedding ceremony.
A video showing the moment the COVID-19 Task Force officials busted the church wedding ceremony is circulating online as they disrupted the ceremony breaching the rules of social distancing imposed by the government due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Some guests can also be seen without face masks at the wedding ceremony which held at a branch of The Apostolic Church, Calabar, Cross River State.
The event was still ongoing when the COVID-19 task force officials walked into the church while guests immediately took to their heels to avoid being arrested.
The couple who were at the altar at the time the officials stepped into the church were seen walking out of the church while the pastor was confronted by the Task force officials.
