Guests at a traditional wedding in Okija, Anambra, flee for their lives as a swarm of bees descends on them and begins attacking them at the venue.
An eyewitness who shared the incident told an Instagram blogger about it.
The reporter claimed that he and his group had traveled to Anambra for a traditional wedding assignment.
The elders at the event refused to give the woman the palm so she could look through the crowd for her husband, as is customary in the culture.
Their justification had been that it was improper for the event to coincide with the town’s market day.
A swarm of bees reportedly charged the location and started stinging the visitors.
