Samuel Ohiri, the former chairman of the Imo State Council of Traditional Rulers, was abducted on Saturday by an unidentified group of gunmen from his home in the state’s Orodo Mbaitoli Local Government Area and taken away, according to reports.
During the administration of the former governor, Rochas Okorocha, the monarch, who is Orodo’s traditional ruler, presided over the council.
