Hamster Kombat Under Strong Backlash Over Airdrop

  • Crypto exchange space Hamster Kombat has faced backlash over its unfair airdrop after months of loyal users dedication.
    • Hamster Kombat announced that 63% of players would not receive the Season 1 airdrop due to the accumulation of in-game keys, which many believed were not necessary for winning prizes.
    • This disqualification frustrated players who had invested time and energy into the game, especially those who focused on gaining more points per hour (PPH), which Hamster Kombat emphasized was essential for eligibility.

Hamster Kombat’s recent announcement that around 63% of gamers will be unable to obtain the Season 1 airdrop has sparked controversy.

This disqualification seems to have been caused by players’ collection of in-game keys, which many believed were not required for winning rewards.

Players who had put a lot of time and effort into the game were quite disappointed when it became clear that key collecting was required for eligibility as the airdrop date approached.

Many members of the community felt deceived, particularly those who focused on obtaining more points per hour (PPH), as Hamster Kombat emphasised was required to qualify for airdrops.

Many players now believe that their efforts were in vain because key collection was added as a condition at the last minute.

After waiting three months for the airdrop, participants got just a few tokens in their wallets. Furthermore, the majority of these tokens are locked and may only be claimed in increments over time.

Many people have labelled it “one of the worst airdrops in crypto,” citing the unexpected limits after such a lengthy wait.

The feeling of betrayal among gamers has reached a tipping point, with some questioning whether to continue supporting Hamster Kombat.

The schism between the platform and its community begs the issue of whether Hamster Kombat can re-establish user confidence. Many people want confidence that their commitment will be recognised and rewarded.

In light of the reaction, there is rising support in the community for Hamster Kombat to adopt a re-evaluation procedure for rejected accounts.

Players urge for a transparent review mechanism that would enable individuals who were wrongfully excluded to appeal and maybe requalify for the airdrop.
