After a year of being sent on scholarship to Cyprus by the prominent cleric, Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere, the popular viral dancers known as the Happie Boys have been deported back to Nigeria.
The lads made news in 2022 when Apostle Chinyere came to their aid, allowing them the opportunity to pursue their aspirations after they were fired from their jobs due to their love of dance.
This uplifting story took an unexpected turn when it was revealed that the Happie Boys had run into problems while living overseas, resulting in their repatriation back to Nigeria.
After a one-year scholarship abroad, the Happie Boys were repatriated to Nigeria.
The initial elation of the scholarship offer seems to have faded as they reportedly fell out with Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere.
The reason for their disagreement is unknown, although social media rumors say that the Happie Boys began living a “unseemly” lifestyle in Cyprus, which worried their patron, Apostle Chinyere Chibuzor.
To address the matter, it was revealed that the boys were imprisoned in Cyprus.
Apostle Chinyere Chibuzor dispatched his legal team to work on winning the young men’s release, demonstrating his dedication to their well-being.
According to recent reports, the Happie Boys have been deported to Nigeria and are now live in the capital city of Abuja.
The news of their return has sparked outrage on social media, with many fans of their voyage expressing relief and curiosity.
