Nigerian musician Habeeb Okikiola, widely recognized as Portable, has voiced his dissatisfaction following a recent meeting with Peter Obi, the 2023 presidential candidate for the Labour Party and former Governor of Anambra State.
The controversial artist encountered Obi in Benin City, Edo State, where they exchanged greetings.
A video from this meeting, which has gained significant attention online, features Portable expressing his discontent regarding Obi’s failure to provide him with any financial support during their interaction.
In his characteristic forthright style, Portable drew a comparison between Obi and President Bola Tinubu, asserting that the current president would have offered him something had they met.
In the footage, Portable remarked, “Obi cannot give us anything. Obi didn’t give us anything. If it was Tinubu we met, he would have given us something. Let’s go.”

“It was a dream at first meeting Wande Coal. I become a child when he is around. He is a legend. So that [meeting him] was a blessing and a surreal moment.”
Fireboy DML acknowledged Wande Coal as a key figure in his decision to pursue music, recognizing the significant influence Wande had on his artistic journey.

In a recent discussion on the show “Is This Seat Taken?”, the “Peru” hitmaker expressed that his favorite food to consume at precisely 3 a.m. is Eba, asserting that it is the quintessential choice for a Yoruba individual.
During the interview, the host challenged his assertion, claiming that a true Yoruba man would opt for ‘Amala’ instead of ‘Eba.’
Fireboy DML firmly disagreed, maintaining that a genuine Yoruba man would choose Eba at any hour, thus reinforcing his argument.
At one point, the host sought assistance from the media team regarding her debate with Fireboy, even threatening to dismiss them if they sided with the artist. In response, he humorously offered to compensate them.
