A Nigerian lady has turned to social media for assistance after an inDrive driver reportedly blocked her following an inadvertent transfer of ₦69,000 instead of the intended ₦6,900 for his services.
In a message posted on her account on X (formerly Twitter), she detailed the circumstances surrounding the incident.
She explained that she accidentally sent ₦69,000 to the driver after completing her ride, rather than the correct amount of ₦6,900.
Upon realizing her mistake, she found that the driver had blocked her from contacting him.
She wrote: “I just realized that I mistakenly sent an inDrive driver ₦69,000 instead of ₦6,900, and he has blocked me😭. This is the ride details and the driver’s number: +234 807 789 5355. Please help call him because he has blocked all my numbers 😪.”
The woman requested the public’s help in reaching the driver.
Her post quickly attracted attention, prompting numerous individuals to share their opinions and advice in the comments.
As the message spread online, concerned users voiced their thoughts, with some providing suggestions for recovering the funds while others condemned the driver’s alleged behavior.
