Hollywood actor Terrence Howard recently shared his experience of what he described as a disturbing encounter in the entertainment industry during an appearance on the PBD Podcast with host Patrick Bet-David. Howard spoke about a time when music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs invited him over, supposedly for acting lessons, but things took an unexpected turn.
According to Howard, the meeting quickly felt off-track. “He didn’t have any material to work on. There was nothing to focus on,” Howard recalled, explaining that Diddy simply stared at him and later asked him to play music, continuing to watch him without much direction.
Howard went on to describe how a second invitation from Diddy revealed the mogul’s true intentions. “That’s when I realized he wasn’t looking for acting lessons — he was after something else,” Howard explained.
While Howard felt uncomfortable during the encounter, he made it clear that he wasn’t accusing Diddy of any criminal actions. “I understood what was going on. He wanted something more,” said Howard. “Many people in Hollywood give up parts of themselves to succeed. I chose not to.”
Bet-David, surprised by the candidness of Howard’s story, had asked the actor about the industry’s darker side without naming any specific individuals. This prompted Howard to directly bring up Diddy, who is currently facing various legal and misconduct allegations.
As of now, Diddy has yet to respond to Howard’s comments, and no formal accusations have been filed regarding the incident in question.
