Salome Adaidu, the young woman allegedly killed by gospel singer Oluwatimileyin Ajayi, has been buried.

Reports indicate that her death at the hands of her supposed boyfriend, who claims to be a TikTok motivational speaker, has shocked the country.

A video that has gone viral captured the sorrowful moment of her nighttime burial, where a group of men solemnly placed her body into the ground, their faces filled with grief.

In the background, the sounds of women crying filled the air with their sorrowful sobs.

Watch the video below:

GistLover previously mentioned that the supposed gospel singer triggered a lot of reactions when an old video of him went viral online.

In his TikTok post, Ajayi was motivating his fans about life and the myth of village people. He asserted that village people do not exist and that no one can prevent their success.

The music star noted that many people rush to churches for prayers out of fear of village people. Ajayi motivated his fans to keep progressing, reminding them that no one can hold them back.

In the video, singer Ajayi stated that there is only one true power in heaven and on earth. He mentioned that the only thing that can hold people back is within themselves. The TikTok star encouraged everyone not to limit themselves, as they have the strength to succeed.

This marks the first time a gospel singer has been accused of ritual killing.

In the past, partners, including lovers and spouses, have faced similar accusations. Additionally, the family of Salome Eleojo Adaidu, who was reportedly killed by Timileyin Ajayi, has shared details about the connection between the deceased and the artist.

According to Alli Stephen, a Facebook user, Salome was not Timileyin’s girlfriend, despite many reports suggesting otherwise. He claimed that Timileyin lied during his police arrest and said Salome was like a sister to him.

Alli explained that Salome left home at 11 am on Sunday, January 12, 2025, to visit a friend in Karu, Nasarawa state, but accidentally got into the wrong Keke.

He spoke with Salome’s older sister at 2 pm and again at 6 pm that day. Later, Salome’s sister called him to say that Salome had died. Alli mentioned that the bike rider who transported her alleged killer raised the alarm because the bag he carried was dripping with blood.
