The wedding of Ayomikun, daughter of renowned Nigerian gospel singer Tope Alabi, continues to make waves on social media, as new footage of the newlyweds with Bishop David Oyedepo of Faith Tabernacle, popularly known as Winners Chapel, has surfaced online.
Reports previously revealed that Ayomikun, who follows in her mother’s footsteps as a gospel singer, tied the knot with her partner, Oluwole, in a private ceremony. Despite efforts to keep the occasion low-key, moments from the celebration soon made their way to the public.
One of the viral clips featured Nollywood actress Funke Akindele, who attended the event to celebrate with Tope Alabi. In a video shared on Akindele’s official social media page, she looked radiant in a magenta-colored Aso-Ebi ensemble, accessorized with a matching purse, gele, and shoes, exuding elegance.
Days after the wedding, Ayomikun and her husband had the privilege of meeting Bishop David Oyedepo. A video shared by the bride captured the moment the revered cleric placed his hands on the couple’s heads in prayer as they knelt before him.
Expressing her gratitude, Ayomikun thanked Bishop Oyedepo for his prayers, guidance, and the love he extended to her and her husband.
“A marriage that God has gone ahead of ☺️❤️Thank you Jesus and thank you grandpa for the blessings, advices and love shown towards us❤️ we love you sir,” she wrote in a caption.
