Help me bring my son’s corpse to Rivers state for a proper funeral – Mother of late sound engineer calls on Gov Fubara

The devastated mother of Precious, a sound engineer who perished with Nollywood actor Jnr Pope in a boat tragedy in Anambra State on April 10, is seeking aid from Rivers State Governor Sim Fubara.

In a tragic video posted on social media, the deceased’s mother pleaded with the governor to assist in transporting her son’s remains to the state for appropriate burial.

On Monday, April 15, Akwa Ibom state governor Eno Umo authorised the transfer of the body of Abigail Frederick, the cosmetics artist who perished in the boat disaster, from the riverbank to her father’s compound.

‘’I call on you Governor of Rivers state to come and help me. I have been ill. It is that my that has been funding my treatment. Please try and visit the family so we can see how to bring back my son’s body back because his landlady in Asaba says his spirit has been disturbing her. Please help me. If I do not see my son (body) I will die” the distraught mum said.
