Following his release from custody, controversial Nigerian street musician Habeeb Okikiola, also known as Portable Omolalomi, made a special plea to his creator.
The musician begged God to let go of anything that was stealing his serenity on his Instagram page.
According to Portable, God is his top concern, and he cited several verses from the Bible that encourage prayer.
He was grateful for all of his admirers’ and partners’ displays of affection as he prayed for them.
“God is my number 1 priority he didn’t say maybe….he said surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life Zazuu every evil plan of your enemies against you shall work against them. Evil voice of those who trade words against your destiny shall be in silenced forever. Amin Dear God please help me release what’s stealing my peace. Pray for money and Grace.
Big Thanks to all my Lover’s out there una no go fall. God no go shame us. God dey. Fear God. Get close to God. My God no dey disappoint. I will stand strong. IKA OF AFRICA”.
Controversial singer, Habeeb Okikiola, has been released after fulfilling his bail conditions.
Okikiola, also known as Portable, was arraigned in an Ogun State Magistrate’s Court in Ifo on Monday for alleged assault and theft.
The court had previously granted him bail in the amount of N800,000 for the three charges, with two sureties in the same amount.
The court ruled that the sureties must be landowners within the court’s jurisdiction.
Okikiola was transferred to the Ilaro Correctional Centre after failing to meet his bail conditions.
However, Victor Oyeleke, the Spokesman for the Nigerian Correctional Service in Ogun, confirmed to newsmen this evening that Portable had completed the bail conditions and had left the prison custody.
“He has perfected the bail conditions and he just left the custody,” Oyeleke said.
The case has since been adjourned to April 26 for the commencement of trial.
