“Help those in trenches” – Portable tells Wizkid, Davido, Burna Boy and others

  • Popular Nigerian street singer, Portable, has called on his colleagues to help those in trenches, including him
    • He also urged them to stop posting cars, houses and help those in the trenches

    Popular Nigerian singer, Habeeb Okikiola better known as Portable has called for his senior colleagues, Burna Boy, Wizkid and Davido to help upcoming artistes.

    In an interview with actor turned street voxpop, Timi Agbaje, Portable called on his senior colleagues to invest in upcoming singers as they are talented.

    Also crying for help, Portable urged them to help him too. He pleaded with Davido to keep to his promise and help him rise.

    Saying a prayer for the now father of three, he prayed for anyone wishing for his downfall to fall

    “Abeg make una help me, I still need help. You dey hear. Make una help me abeg. Make Wizkid Baba n’la, help me. You understand, no be to dey post cars, houses. Make them help people from the trenches. All those artiste dey wey sabi. Davido na baba, e don promise me, anyone wey pray for ur downfall go fall.

    After Davido na egbon Ogonna (Burna Boy) make dem help me, dem no carry me join body dey man rip me. Na him make me dey para. Dey say I wise, why I no go wise”.

    “It’s possible”- Reactions as Portable says he’ll love to sing with Asa, shares plan to win Grammy in hilarious video

    Popular Nigerian singer, Portable, caused an online buzz after speaking on his plan to win a Grammy and to also have a song with Asa.

    In response to that, Portable noted that if he is being honest, he would like to win a Grammy Award for the category of Best Artiste in Africa.

    HE SAID: “MAKE I NO LIE YOU, NA TO COLLECT GRAMMY, BEST ARTISTE FOR AFRICA. THAT IKA OF AFRICA, I WAN USE AM COLLECT THAT AWARD.”

    According to Portable, he wants the international award and not the local ones that people pay for.

    He then went ahead to ask if all his counterparts can sing in a live band or if they can sing good songs and praise God.

    The Zazu Zeh crooner was then asked to name a female Nigerian singer he would love to sing with.

    In response to Agbaje’s question, Portable admitted that he would like to have a song with Asa. He said:

    “AH, OMO DEM PLENTY O, BUT MAKE I NO LIE YOU, I LIKE ASA.”
