The decision of former Miss South Africa Chidimma Adetshina to compete in the Nigerian beauty pageant Miss Universe Nigeria is beginning to elicit a variety of reactions from Nigerians.

Nevertheless, her acknowledgment video has caused a rift among Nigerians, with a number of netizens inquiring about her origins and the name ‘Adetshina,’ as some have suggested that it is not a Yoruba name.

Recall that Verydarkman asserted that the organizers of Miss Universe Nigeria would guarantee Chidimma’s victory in order to convey a message to South Africans.
