Nigerian artist 2Face has claimed that the assassination attempt on former US President Donald Trump was planned.

Trump reportedly dodged assassination during his presidential rally in Pennsylvania on Saturday.

The FBI identified 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks as the “subject involved” in Trump’s attempted assassination.

Despite security agencies’ verification, 2Baba said it was a “pure package.”

He claimed that ace Hollywood actor Jussie Smollett is still a learner when compared to Trump’s acting abilities.

On his Instagram account, he said: “Jessie Smallet dey learn. I go shock if I wrong but this sh*t na pure package.

“All black everything. Hollywood dey learn.”

Veteran musician Charly Boy, stylist Toyin Lawani, and American actress Amanda Seales, among others, have all expressed doubts about Trump’s assassination attempt on Donald Trump.

In other news, Popular Wiz Khalifa, a 36-year-old American rapper, has been arrested in Romania for illegal drug possession.

According to French news agency Agence France Presse (AFP), the rapper and actor, real name Cameron Thomaz, was headlining the “Beach, Please!” festival in Costinesti, Romania, when authorities allegedly discovered cannabis in his possession early Sunday, July 14, prosecutors said.

Cannabis is classified as a “risk drug” under Romanian law, and if convicted, Khalifa could face up to ten years in prison.

The Romanian anti-organized crime prosecutors’ organization DIICOT said in a statement to the French media on Sunday, July 14, that the rapper smoked the narcotic on stage during his performance.

“During a performance at a music festival held in the resort of Costinesti, the accused was found to have possessed more than 18 grammes of cannabis and to have consumed (onstage) another quantity in the form of a handmade cigarette,” the DIICOT statement read.

According to a source who talked with the outlet, Khalifa was arrested by local authorities early on Sunday along with several other people.

He was charged but released shortly afterwards.

After being released, Wiz Khalifa posted about his arrest on X (formerly known as Twitter).

He wrote: “Last nights show was amazing. I didn’t mean any disrespect to the country of Romania by lighting up on stage.

“They were very respectful and let me go. I’ll be back soon. But without a big ass joint next time.”
