Nigerian actress Ronke Odusanya has shared details about her failed marriage to Saheed Olarewaju, known as Jago.

In a chat with fellow actress Bimpe Akintunde, Ronke revealed that a supposed friend told her husband she was unfaithful and had taken their daughter to be with a senator.

She mentioned that when she left her husband, she had only N10,000 in her bank account and had to stay with her brother.

Ronke, who has one child, noted that her ex-husband later regretted believing those rumors, but it was too late to change things.

Ronke Odusanya narrated:

“When it happened that time and degenerated, my partner later realized that he shouldn’t have listened to the things he heard back then.

A friend of mine told him that I wanted to leave him and go into prostitution. That when I left that night, I went to sleep in a Senator’s house with Fife. When he told me, my mouth was left open.

Then I sent him a picture; God gave me grace; I didn’t know how I did it. I did a recording of the time and the date, were on my phone for the video. I recorded it when we got to where we would sleep.

When we left, I didn’t have up to N10,000 in my account, but I decided this was it. I had nothing; all my jewelry was taken away, and I fainted with that. I was wondering where to start from. I cried so much that day because I didn’t have money to get an accommodation”.

Ronke Odusanya and her ex-husband were in conflict over their child’s paternity. On February 10, 2021, Saheed appeared in court to request a DNA test for their daughter. The court allowed the test, but Ronke’s lawyer insisted that Saheed pay for it.

In February 2022, Saheed posted a video on Instagram where he addressed the paternity of their child. He apologized for asking for a DNA test and confirmed that their daughter Fife is indeed his. He expressed his love for her and explained that past events led him to take this step.
