The Chief Executive Officer of Facebook Mark Elliot Zuckerberg has lost a whooping $7 billion after some Facebook advertisers boycott Facebook advertisement.
Some high profiled advertisers have decide to boycott advertisement on Facebook starting from July because the necessary actions which needed to be taken against hate speech hasn’t been done yet.
Facebook’s stock fell by 8% on Friday, 26th June which made the company lose about $7 million. Facebook is planing toall post from all politicians that breaks the rules but are “newsworthy” to be on the platform.
According to reports, the “stop hate for profit” will commerce calling on major companies in Europe to also join in the boycott.
