Yemi Alade, a popular musician, has disclosed how she avoids becoming involved in the entertainment industry’s controversies.

The ‘Johnny’ singer remarked that she does not let people’s opinions affect her.

Speaking at a listening party for her new album, ‘Rebel Queen’, in Lagos recently, Alade stated that she simply ignores unfavorable feedback.

She stated, “I don’t think about it [negative criticisms] too much. I’m just living my life because it’s only one life I’ve.

“Once I see or hear anything that doesn’t resonate with me I look the other way and I keep it moving. Because everybody is entitled to their opinions.”

Falz recently discussed what draws him to a lady in an interview with Bibi Rai on the “Morning Rush Show,” indicating a change in his priorities beyond looks.

Falz also talked about his past relationships, revealing that he hasn’t been in a romantic relationship since he was 18 years old.

He clarified that he hasn’t been prepared to commit to a relationship because his attention has been diverted.

Regarding his preferences, Falz stressed the significance of a person’s aura and vitality.

He admitted that he no longer placed as much value on beauty or other flimsy attributes.

He said: “My last relationship was when I was 18-years old, 2008 precisely. I’m not running away but it’s just been like a rollercoaster, a couple of different things for a couple of different reasons. I just haven’t felt ready.

“The aura, the energy, the swag. When I say the aura, I don’t mean that loosely; I’m coming from a realm where I thought I liked light skin or babes with big breasts, among other fickle things. I am in a realm where it is about the kind of energy you ooze.”

The singer said during an appearance on Angela Yee’s podcast, “Way Up,” that many people mistakenly believed that they were in a romantic relationship.

The pair who have a joint EP which was released years back stated that they both have music history and alluded that she has a new song with Falz coming out later this month.
