Evicted Big Brother Naija contestant, Kassia Sule, has shared her family’s sentiments regarding the decision that resulted in her eviction from the show.
Kassia expressed that her family is displeased with her management’s choice to prioritize her husband, Kellyrae, over her.
The couple, known as DoubleKay, initially had a joint management team; however, following Biggie’s decision to unpair the housemates, they were compelled to compete individually. Subsequently, their management chose to support Kellyrae’s advancement in the competition instead of Kassia’s.
This decision was communicated to the DoubleKay fanbase after Kellyrae expressed his desire to win the N100 million grand prize, stating that he preferred to secure the victory over his wife, Kassia. He elaborated on his reasoning in a widely circulated video.
As a result, fans directed their voting efforts primarily towards Kellyrae, which ultimately led to Kassia’s eviction on Sunday, while her husband advanced to the finale.
In a post-eviction interview with Naija FM in Lagos, Kassia acknowledged that the management’s decision was the most favorable, although she noted her family’s dissatisfaction with the choice to support her husband over her.
The host asked: “How do you feel about your management taking you out of the show for your husband [Kellyrae] to continue the show?”
Kassia replied: “I feel it’s the best decision, even though my family is not happy about it, but I’m cool with it.”
Kassia and Kellyrae were in a relationship for ten years before tying the knot eight months ago.
