Nigerian artist Tems has shared details about signing a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) prior to collaborating with American superstar Beyoncé.
During an interview with the New York Times, Tems discussed her experience working with Beyoncé on her upcoming 2022 album “Reinassance.”
“My team just messaged me like, ‘Yo, first of all, I have to send you something to sign. I was losing my mind. Like, What?!” she told New York Times’ Culture Reporter Reggie Ugwu, expressing her excitement.
Upon receiving a message from her team, Tems expressed her excitement and surprise at being asked to sign something. She accepted the NDA after receiving an invitation to work with Beyoncé in Los Angeles.
Tems revealed that the song “Move,” featured on Beyoncé’s Grammy-nominated album “Renaissance,” was the result of their time together in the studio.
Aside from Beyoncé, Tems has also collaborated with other renowned international artists such as Drake, Rihanna, and Future. Notably, she and Drake were both featured on Future’s Grammy-winning track “Wait For U.”
