Enitan Oluwole, a rising Nigerian actor, has claimed that making the switch from banking to Nollywood was difficult.
He described how he had certain problems as a newcomer to the movie industry, such as adjusting to the hard work hours, but he was able to ‘fit perfectly to the demands of the movie industry’.
Oluwole also revealed that he had been receiving fan praise for his performance in the film Gloria Must Go, which was produced by actress and filmmaker Etinosa Idemudia.
The young actor also stated that the way Etinosa approaches her craft inspires him, and the results are evident in the quality of her films.
He said; “She [Etinosa] gave me more visibility, and I am grateful for that. I am inspired by how she handles her craft and the result is obvious in how her movies turn out. People have different ways of expressing themselves, so it might not be pleasant or nice to another person, but I’ve learnt to take the corrections and move on.”
Throwing light on the message of the movie, Oluwole said; “The film is an amazing project that talks about some of the challenges young couples face in this modern age, as well as what transpires when the husband or wife decides to bring in an older in-law into the home at the early stage of the marriage. This could be positive or negative, and the movie sheds more light on the possible problems that could be encountered.”
