Well-known comedian Bayegun Oluwatoyin, also known as Woli Arole, and fashion influencer Powede Eniola Awujo, known as Powede Awujo, have shared a message for ‘woke’ Nigerians as the Lord’s Chosen church gains attention online for its unique testimonies.

Arole mentioned in a post that life has a spiritual aspect, highlighting that many people only understand this when they face difficulties.

“A letter to my generation: I see a lot of assume woke people, that love to mock anything supernatural. See I pray you don’t enter trouble before you realise that life is spiritual. Your opinions or cruise doesn’t change the truth,” he wrote.

Powede Awujo recounted her meeting with the Holy Spirit, during which she almost questioned God due to the illogical nature of the experience.

“Don’t be so woke that your spiritual senses are asleep,”she advised Nigerians.
