The Nollywood actress Wumi Toriola has issued a warning to her critics on a recent interview in which she talked of making amends with her ex-husband despite having said that their marriage was ended.
Toriola expressed her wish to have additional children—possibly one or two—with a single guy during their appearance on the Goldroom discussion program with colleague Iyabo Ojo. She declined to elaborate further on the reconciliation, though.
Particularly in light of the accusations made against her ex-husband, the tweet drew criticism.
Toriola said that trolls don’t always get it right and that she is not a mature public person in an Instagram post that has since been deleted. She thanked them for their help in lessening her anguish and reminded them that she is only human.
“Sometimes, trolls just step on the wrong feet. I am not your everyday public figure. Sometimes, I ignore other times I react… I am also human.
Thank you for easing the pain.
Thank you all and to the “fija folorun ja crew. I listened after 20 minutes.
He has also apologized.
I am not your “mature” public figure, I don’t drag it.
Thank you, beautiful people, nobody will take your peace of mind”.*
